Understanding the Cultural Ideal

Picture
The American dream is changing for many of Americans.  More than one percent worry about legal status.  More than 30 percent worry about retirement livability.  The Y generation just coming out of College is worried about access to medical care, job attainment and stability, and internet access, shorter commuting times.   Does Urban Planning for residential areas reflect this change?

Discouraging Bad Habits and Encouraging Good Ones

Thanks to Michelle Obama's focus on health and healthful eating, more Americans are making more critical decisions about what they are consuming.  Urban agriculture is now beginning to be a more common theme, from roof top beekeeping to decorative edibles in landscaping.
